Slideshow that can proceed forward/back at user pace

I have VS+ 11 and would like to know if it's possible to create a slideshow that can be paused, reverse a slide or forward a slide similiar to a powerpoint presentation or am I locked into simply playing a slideshow like a movie.

When you make a slideshow with VS it is, for all intents and purposes, a movie, so you couldn't really do what you want.

UNLESS  , you made each picture a separate chapter, then you could use your DVD remote to advance/go back via the next/previous buttons.

Actually you can. You would have to "compile" every aspect of what you want before hand, and set chapter points for each "action" you want.

If thats what ya want, you can do it.. "be creative"..
