Seperating audio

Post by lostinthewoods »

Hello all. I've looked through the archives but can't see to find anything about this. Is there anyway that I can seperate the audio track from a AVI file and save it to work on it in another program like audicaty or wave pad?

I'd like to be able to turn down the high gain a little bit before I make a video.

thanks in advance!

Certainly is. Click on the video in the timeline and select it..."Split Audio" should appear on the Video panel and the sound file will split an show up on the Sound track.

Click on the sound track if you need to, click "audio View" and you can adjust volumes within VS. No need for Audacity for this though you could...up to you from there.
