DVD for TV and PC

Post by aiki88 »

I produced a video meant for TV, but my issue is when it plays on PC it shows canvas clips from the background canvas. How do I fix this for both TV and PC playback? The clips that hold the canvas should not be visable, of course, in any medium. Help appreciated.

As you don't give any details of your formats, cannot help you. However, it is normal if your format is less than 768 pixels wide that there be an "edge". This is, of course, lost in the overscan on a TV but is visible on a computer screen. You can crop it off, keeping the aspect ratio, but you will lose even more of the picture with the TV overscan. Your choice!

Sorry Devil- 720X480 NTSC. Guess I'll have to crop it because if someone pops the DVD into their PC they will see the canvas. I thought I could get with overscan
