Nature of the problem
--------------------------
Cannot burn an image of a non-compywrited (i.e., home shot) DVD
Properties of your source files (format, file size, where did you get it?)
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
A home video (actually of a football game) DVD that was made using a camcorder hooked to some type of streaming recording device (I did not do it, but saw the setup) . Basically a camcorder using RCA type plugs to a recorder that burns a DVD directly
I can use Nero to successfully capture the image to disk, so I know it works.
What devices are involved and their mode of connection?
------------------------------------------------------------------
Philips DVD+-RW SDVD8820 AD15 (plugged into module bay on Dell Lattitude laptop)
Project Settings

Output format (file, DVD, VCD, SVCD)

Error Codes (if any)

When I attempt the copy, I get the following pop-up/error:
Window Title: Ulead Copy.now
Window Text: The source disc cannot be copied. It requires on-the-fly copying.
Cannot copy DVD to image file
Not too sure what you are trying to do
.
If you mean rip your own DVD to the hard-drive, then for mf6 we use Import from DVD to HD ( new project > next > add media > import.. ).
If you mean copy a DVD as an image, the use nero, or ulead burn now ( new project > copy disc > select source + select destination > disc image file ).
Not too sure whether mf4 has the import function either
