Help with SImple Task - Please!

Post by peterjung »

Hi there

I have been trying to achieve what I thought would be a very simple task but I cannot get the correct results.

What I am trying to do is to have a graphic (company logo) displayed in a small window throughout the duration of a piece of video. Simple, yes I thought so too.

I have my main video on one track and I have a JPEG image on another track. I have tried the picture in picture overlay but for some reason the logo is at the correct size and position at the start of the clip, however it grows in size throughout the duration of the clip!

I have been through the Help, but to no avail! This has been driving me nuts for a few days now. Can someone please post simple step by step guide to how to achieve what I need?

OK, I am sure that I am missing something really basic and that I am an idiot but I would would appreciate if someone can help point out what probably is the "bleeding obvious"!

Any help is very much appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Go into the Effects Manager and, with the cursor at the left, you will see a little red marker for the first keyframe on the effect you are using. Right-click on it and choose "copy to all other keyframes" (p.105 ff of manual for more details).
