MF 6 still won't capture after clean uninstall/reinstall

Hi,

I can't get the Capture function to work in MF6. Whether I try creating a new project before capturing, or capturing directly from the startup screen, I get a blank "Capture Video" window. Then nothing happens.

I also started having capturing problems with DVD Workshop 2 after installing MF6.

So, I uninstalled both programs per instructions given in another thread: I moved/renamed the "Ulead Systems" folders in both the "Program Files" folder and "Common Files" folder.

Then I used the Control Panel function "Add-Remove Programs" to uninstall both programs.

I reinstalled MF6 first. It still wouldn't capture with the symptoms described above.

Then I reinstalled DVD Workshop 2. Now it captures OK!

Unfortunately MF6 still doesn't capture. So it seems as though uninstalling and reinstalling both programs fixed DVD Workshop 2, but not MF6.

Here's a summary of the specs for my system:

Capture Card: Canopus AVDC-1394 (DVD Workshop 2 captures OK with this)

PC: Dell Dimension 8300 3.2 GHz 1GB RAM
HD: 300GB (2) about 100GB free on each
OS: Win XP Pro SP 2
Graphics Card: ATI Radeon 9800 XT AGP 200 MB

Other DVD Software:

Ulead DVD Workshop 2
MPEG Video Wizard 2007 (the Womble video editor)
Nero Ultra 7

NOTE: Nero InCD and Indexing Service are **disabled**

Anyone have any ideas on how to get MF6 capturing to work?
