Hi all,
My 30 days trial just expired and am going to purchase the MSP8+DVD Workshop combo. I noticed the box version (of the DVD Workshop) is $100 more than the download version.
This begs me to ask the question, why? What is the difference between the box and download versions? I ASSUME there's no difference in the software. I also assume that the box version has a manual (hopefully something more indepth than the PDF manual that you can download)! But what more justifys the additional $100? If it's worth it, I'll go for the box version. Any answers concerning DVD WS 2?
I'm also posting this question in the Media Studio Pro forum to get their thoughts on the difference between that product's two versions.
Thanks in adavnce,
Barry Miller

Thanks for the quick replies!
My primary question in this forum, is why the $100 difference between the two versions? After reading your answers, I get that the box version of DVD Workshop includes a manual (or does it)? Assuming that it does, that's still not enough to warrant a $100 price difference.
Note that with Media Studio Pro, there is NO price difference between the box and download versions, so perhaps the box version of MSP doesn't come with a manual?
If the $100 difference with DVD Workshop is explained by the manual, that must be one hell of a manual!!!!
Thanks again for your earlier posts,
Barry
