VS 11 add MOV to timeline create video file all STATIC

I have MOV files that i have added to a new project. I can play the MOV file in the timeline and sounds and looks good. BUT when i create a video file i hear all static the video is good..

if i try a MPG file it works fine just with the MOV file.

What settings do i need to get the audio to convert.. IU have tried different audio settings in the output file.

What???? To MPG from MOV? To MOV to MPG? MOV & MPG files mixed in one project?

Are you trying to make a new MOV file? What output format are you looking for?

You can try using SUPER (FREE!!!) to convert your audio/video to another format, or you can use SUPER to extract the audio from your MOV file into a WAV file. Then, you can use Video Studio to combine the old MOV video with the new WAV audio.

Changing the output usually wont help. When you have a problem converting a file from one format to another, it's usually a problem on the "from" side... For some unknown reason, it can't decode (de-compress) the original format properly, so it can't convert it "to" anything.
