SonicFire and auto music

Post by Gra »

Hi Guys

There was a thread on the above posted at the end of August and since then I keep getting a timeout error trying to open it. I'd like to have a shufty because I've just invested in Sonicfire so I wonder if it's possible to re-post that thread or make a copy please?
Thanks & regards.

Hi Mr A, no problems as such and Sonic seems good - I was just interested in reading the question because the only issue I have is I cannot export from SonicFire into MSP (and I thought I could).
Thanks & regards.

I don't have it yet, so, officially, I can't answer that one. But, it's my understanding you just create a .wav and go from there??

In a nutshell it's like MrAmigo said you export a WAV file from SonicFire Pro.
Which version do you have 3 or 4?

Hi Steve
Thanks - I'm using SFP4.

I'm still just playing with the programme to learn how to get the best out of it - and the mood mapping features you can apply to the strata series libraries in particular (and it is very good - although expensive to build a decent library). When I was playing around I saw a tutorial that suggested you could export the modified track direct into a Ulead project. When I try the export feature I see Ulead is there but it is greyed out and export only provides for an export to Quicktime.

It's no big deal as such and I've still got a lot more tutorial time and experimenting to do (and as you and MrA rightly point out it's straight forward anyway to save as a WAV after I've made my soundtrack) - it's just if I haven't got it wrong and it is possible to export direct I'd like to see how it works.
Thanks & regards.
