New to the forms with Videostudio 11 Question

Post by mitcs0ke »

Hello everyone, newby here.

I have been reading some of the info here about Videostudio 11
and Windows Vista.

I just bought a full copy of Ulead Videostudio 11 Plus to put on
my new computer which has Windows Vista. (Have not recieved it yet)

So my question is this, with all the bad things I have been reading
here about Videostudio 11, did I make a bad buy and should I return the
software for my money back as soon as it arrives???

I really like Ulead products and am still using Videostudio 7 on my old Xp.
I just can not believe Ulead would put out such a bad product!!!

I await your wisdom!

Here is a little bit of wisdom. I have used Ulead video editing products since the 6.0 version. Continue to use it, using UVS 11plus. There are glitches and computer incompatibilities and incompatibilities with other existing programs in the same computer with Ulead editing products as well as with other editing programs of other vendors. This forum focuses on problems and glitches and "work around solutions." This forum does not focus on success stories in which no one has any problems or glitches. So reading this forum, gives you a view of many of those who have problems or glitches.

I would recommend trying your Ulead program on your computer and see how successful it can be. If you have problems, you can come to this forum for some assistance. If you find the Ulead program to have too many inconsistancies for your computer, then you can go to your alternative options. But, if the Ulead program works for you, as it does for me...keep it.

I have a multi-boot system and VideoStudio 11+ appears to work find when I am using Vista Home Premium.
