After I sent a complaint email to Corel Customer Support Services, below is the response.

-------------------------------------------------------

Thank you very much for contacting Corel Customer Support Services. This issue has been forwarded to the Customer Support Services Manager within Corel. Corel Engineering is still collecting datas of the Capture Plug-in error. As you can see in our official forum, the forum administrator is also doing the same thing. Once all set, the resolution will be posted on our Corel website and Forum. Please do visit Corel website from time to time to keep updated with the latest news especially with this matter. Thank you.

-------------------------------------------------------

But I'm wondering the administrator of this forum is collecting the datas of the Capture Plug-in error. Will the administrator report the issue to Corel directly?

In fact, I think that is the main point of the patch. But hopefully it will also resolve a number of other unrelated problems which a number of us have been having problems with -- which the thread I referred you to relates. There was also a separate post yesterday by a guy who works for Corel, saying they hope to have the thread released in about one month... Hopefully, that will be accurate since many of us have already been waiting over 4 months!

This is the same question I asked Corel Customer Support Service, and below is the response from them.

--------------------------------------------

Thank you very much for contacting Corel Customer Support Services. That patch
was intended to fix the fatal error during installation of VideoStudio 11
plus:

1. Do a clean remove of VS11 or DMF6. Make sure the folders inside the ?rogram
files?directory are removed.
2. Download and install this patch:
ftp://ftp.ulead.com/pub/Updates/VideoSt ... pgrade.exe
3. Reinstall VS11 and DMF6

About the [15023:4:2] error when using your Sony HDR-HC3 HDV, could you conduct
a test if this error will also occur on Windows XP platform? We are just
wondering if these error has something to do with the firewire driver for
Windows Vista.

Should you require further assistance, please don't hesitate to e-mail us.

--------------------------------------------

However I didn't have a PC with installed XP, do anyone could help this testing out on the XP machine?

Besides on the [15023:4:2] error message from VideoStudio Editor, I got 3 error messages [15064:20:0], [15064:10:0] and [15065:29:0] while today I tried to capture the HDV from Movie Wizard.

Any idea on these messages? Thanks.
