Adding Transitions to video overlay

Hello everyone !
Just bought my Videostudio 11 plus.
I want to know if we can add transition effects to overlay video clips & Images.
I tried inserting. It does not seem to work

Anyone wish to help please

You can't add transitions to the overlay track - I find this a great pity too.
