Filters, trans., moving paths disappeared from prod.library

Have got a weird problem. I cannot find any Video filters, Moving paths, Overlay options or Transitions in the Production Library Window.

It feels really stupid, but I can't find out how to see them again. When I start the program I see a window for a while saying that the items above are loading but they never appear in the Production Library. :-O

I can still apply the items above by right clicking on the clips in the timeline though.

I've got MSP 8.0 and XP SP2 if it matters.

Well, a Repair via the Control panel's Add/Remove Programmes did not work for me either ( and also took MSP back to before patches applied ).

Looks like its back to the regular / periodic re-install for me. Hopefully only MSP and not XP as well !

Rename the following folder
C:/documents and settings/(username)/application data/Ulead Systems/Ulead MediaStudio Pro/8.0/
perhaps to:
C:/documents and settings/(username)/application data/Ulead Systems/Ulead MediaStudio Pro/8.0x/

Restart MediaStudio and it should recreate the above directory and restore the original factory settings. You can then copy any personalised settings from the renamed folder to the new one.

Thank you Steve! I will try it as soon as I come home. I will report the result. I also wonder why it happened in the first place.

Sorry for the delay with the answer. My kid has been ill, I didn't really have time for the answer.

Unfortunately it didn't help to rename the folder. The program creates a new folder 8.0 but no transitions effects etc appear in the production library.

Any other ideas?

Thanks
Renaming my 8.0 folder worked great.
C:/documents and settings/(username)/application data/Ulead Systems/Ulead MediaStudio Pro/8.0/
timofej - have you tried taking your view options back to their defaults ? Window > Layout Manager > Standard or Reset.
Still have to re-apply the patches though !

Yes I have. Didn't help. I have reinstalled the software now and all the items have come back.
