Hide something

Post by dabear »

Msp 8.0,

I seen someone posted a great topic about this and I even replied to it but can't find it now.

I have a car license plate I wish to hide,

I remember you add video to v1 and the same to v2. but then you had to go into paint or something. Thats all I remember about it. Any help on how to do this?

Thanks

Please view:
Number Plate Blur
You could also take a look at this method for VideoStudio which you should be able to do with MediaStudio:

Although Steve's method works fine, this method works as well. A bit more complicated, but, you have more control over the process..http://www.jushhome.com/nick/Tutorial/MSPMarker.asp

Just use a blur filter in place of the highlight in this example..

sjj1805 i checked out your videostudio video about this and tried to match up with media studio. But it didn't work to well.

MrAmigo2121 your tuteral worked better for me. I have it like your video but the circle isn't as smooth. also everything in the background got real dark. Just like in your video. Can i get it so the cirle is dark and the video is same quality. Im still having issues, But trying to sort it out. Might come back to this.

Just reverse the effect.. Just for the record, it's not my tutorial. Just a link I found from this forum. It goes in the direction you are looking for, but, play around with it, and you will figure it out. (add a blur filter to the circle in the example)

How do I go about reversing this effect now so the cirle is dark and the video is same quality?

I have everything set up right with the circle moving in sync just need to get the black outline of the circle off the video.

I added the blur effect but i don't think it worked yet. Maybe i need to play around with the settings a bit.

i figured it out. thanks
