Anyone help!
i capture video no problem and then i use the chroma key to say place a background picture i notice once i have done this the output looks somewhat fuzzy as though the pixels are moving slightly on the video footage not the background picture?
il try
runing mediastudio pro8 service pack1 i think for mediastudio that is.
I have captured video and then in the video editor i put the video on layer2, and then i put the background image onto video layer1.
i go into the overlay options and use the blue screen when i both preview the video or create a video file the background image looks and stays fine. The video footage looks a tad fuzzy, not sure if this is due to not having a proper blue screen thats about the best i can explain it

settings
settings are for pal uk tv, sorry about this i really am explainging things wrong i think, its not the setting as such i think is the problem i think the problem has something to do with the overlay settings when i apply a background to video footage. we have a blue screen and we have made a medieval village now before we go into the overlay settings and say we recorded test there is no problem.
After we have applied the background image in the overlay settings and say we recorded that for a test i can notice the video footage going a touch fuzzy, background image is fine. i think it may have something to do with the colour of the village thats causing it the whole village has a greenish colour and whatever blue shades there are this is causing the screen to appear a touch fuzzy.

Are you asking "How do you use a chroma key in MediaStudio"
From my understanding of it there are several methods in MediaStudio
which all perform a similar though different effect.
These include the Green Screen filter, The Blue Screen filter, Using an Alpha channel, Luma Key, Color Key, Grey Key and a number of other methods.
Perhaps you might be interested in purchasing an excellent (downloadable) book by Charlie Hills: Getting Results With MediaStudio
