Hi Girly

I think a reinstall may be in order.
When you run the installation you should get an option to ¡¥repair¡¦.

This may cause you to loose your library files, as they may be re-installed to there default state.

If you wish you can save the library prior to installing.
The library files can be found here:-

C:\Documents and Settings\USER NAME\Application Data\Ulead Systems\Ulead VideoStudio\10.0

VS_Video.dat

VS_Image.dat

Etc

Copy these to a safe location, then replace them after the install.

Hope this Helps

Try the above first. If that fails then it is possible another item of software on your computer is causing a conflict. This was often the case if you have Adobe Premiere 6.x and Ulead software installed into the same system, there will be an error reading in the Ulead software MPEG VIO. Please install the patch below to fix this problem. ftp://ftp.ulead.com/pub/Updates/Share/PatchForMpeg.exe

The next thing you can try is this fix:
Load MPEG Vio Error

Thanks Trevor

A reinstall did the trick without the patch but would it harm to install it anyway. I don't have Adobe.

I now have another problem as I cannot open Canopus Video fx. I have uninstaill and reinstalled thjis 3 times and it shows up in the transitions list as Video FX but when I click ojn it nothing happens. I have installed the VideoFX.VFX file into the vfx folder in UL and before it worked fine but now it doesn't.

I can open the Canopus interface independently of UL but obviously that's no good.

Any suggestions on that please.

I've managed to sort things out now and got Canopus to work.

How about posting your fix in case someone else has a similar problem.

All I did was a clean uninstall of ULead V10 and Canopus and made sure no traces of these programs were on my pc then reinstalled both programs and everything worked fine.

I hope it may help someone else.
