any tips on best way to organize files for use with VS10+

Charlie Hills recommends using Explorer file manager instead of Library. I currently have a folder named PROJECTs, under that a folder for SOUNDS and for MUSIC that are often used with projects, and then separate subfolders for each project video and stills...

On my external HD I have a Video folder. In it I have my project folders. Those are what I set my VS working folder to.

In VS I also use the library manager to make custom folders for each project's video, audio, titles, etc.

Whatever works for you.

Thanks for the advice

The only problem I had with the Library is that when...and it always seems to happen...one has to do a reinstall of VS, then those markers are gone. Appreciate your feedback though!

Ah, yes. But if you copy those files then you can copy them back after reinstall.

The files you want to copy are:
VS_Audio.dat
VS_Color.dat
VS_Video.dat
etc.

They are found in C:\Documents & Settings\User Name\Application Data\Ulead Systems\VideoStudio(version #)
