PI12 watered down from PI10?
I've noticed in PI12 when creating or editing images, the size options are no longer available in Inches or cm. In creating, my only choice is pixels and in editing, my choices are pixels and percentage. PI10 had it all. Is there a patch for this in PI12?

No, there is no patch because there is no known problem like you describe. I use PI 12 and have used PI 10 extensively before. PI 12 is by far the more powerful program, especially when it comes to working with digital images.
What has changed and is often overlooked by new users is the number of different work spaces. Each work space has a number of tools loaded by default which are relevant to the task these work spaces are designed for.
You can also modify any of them and save under a different name.
Which work space are you in right now? If you are working on a web page, for instance, cm or inches mean nothing in that context, pixels are the only relevant means of sizing an image.
