unspecified error/unable to load library

Post by jakerwaker »

Hey guys pls help me im using ulead videostudio 11plus but when i am done editing my video i click share and create disc. ive tried making a vcd, svcd, and a dvd but there was only one message which was "unspecified error" when the progress is around 40% already.

i read in one of the posts here that creating a disc immediately isnt recommended and what i should do is "create a video file" then make a new project and burn this video file into the desired format (vcd or dvd). ive tried this method also but this time i get the "unable to load library" msg. My project contains jpeg files. everything is jpeg besides the background music which is in mp3 format.

pls help guys. thank you

First, you haven't really given us much information to go by. We know your problems and that you have VS11, but that is about all. Please read this and come back with more information: http://phpbb.ulead.com.tw/EN/viewtopic. ... 1454#41454

At the very least, it would be useful if you filled in your System button below so we would know something about your computer set-up and the operating system on it.

Taking the second part of your question first, as I think that may be where your real problem lies. The error message "unable to load library" is sometimes received by users with Vista. It is associated with some of the fancier transitions which will apparently not work in Vista. I think some or all of the Album transitions are involved, but there are others -- though I hope someone else will be able to supply the names. As a test, you might want to swap any fancy transitions you might have used for more standard ones like cross-fade.

One other possibility which you might want to try before switching transitions, though, is to convert your background mp3 music to standard .wav format. VS in successive versions does not like certain mp3 codecs, the LameMP3 one being the main culprit. Changing to .wav often resolves the problem.

See if either of these possible solutions will allow you to Share > Create Video File > DVD. If so, please let us know which one it might have been, and also whether you can now burn a disc with the new DVD-compatible mpeg-2 you have converted your slideshow into.
