How to change aspect ratio default?
at some point I changed the default aspect ratio to 16 x 9 but I need it back at 4 x 3. can't remember how I did it and can't find in the manual. thanks for any help!

The easiest way would be to go to File > Preferences > General and tick 'Show Start-up Screen' if you have disabled that. Next time you start VS, the start screen will appear allowing you to choose between opening the Editor, etc. And on that page, there is a check box for the aspect ratio.
Other than that, there are various ways to do it. File > Project Properties > Edit > General > Display Aspect Ratio.
Tools > Make Movie (Template) Manager > Edit > General > Display Aspect Ratio
And finally, when you go into the Burning Module (Share > Create Disc), the third icon in the bottom left of screen has a handy '4:3' on it by default (though possibly 16:9 if you have already changed the earlier settings!) which gives a fair indication of what it is for.
Others may now jump in and tell me I have forgotten this or that, but at least you now know where to start looking!
