Hi to all,
I can tell you that the download site works, for MF6, patch 2. I succesfully downloaded and installed it, on my computer.
I am happy to know that it fixes the error when saving thumbnails. I am even more happy that this proves to me that I was not completely dum, when I complained about this.
The thumbnail image is very important for me, since most of my scenes (and chapters) start in the dark. I was chooseing some images in the middle of my chapters to show an interesting part of the clip, but MF6 kept showing the chapter beginning (black) in the thumbnail. All this is fixed and works very well, now.
Pierre.
Patch 2 - an important ifix for me

Audio
Yes,
My settings are for Dolby Digital Audio 48Khz.
My original files were captured with a Sony SR100 hard disk camera and are recorded in 5,1 channel sound.
I insert these MPEG files directly into my Video Processing program (Premiere Elements 3.0). The outpu MPEG file still remains Dolby Digital.
What I tested with the Patch 2 came out very well and I see no change in the audio. These clips are short, though. (Total : 8 minutes, appr.)
I fond the resulting DVD audio to be very good (to my ear).

Correction
Reviewing the question asked, my answer should have started by No.
I had no problem using Dolby Audio. That's what I always use (even before Patch 2). My concern was not audio problem, but the fact that the chapter thumbnails were not saved at the starting time I wanted.
This is all fixed with the patch.
Hope I am clear, this time.
Pierre.
