Is there a way to copy information (titles) in the title line, and paste them directly into the timline (title of another project)
When I try to copy and paste, they end up in the library.

Bruce, you have v12 already?!
Can't you just drag the titles from the library to the new project?

not in the library
OOPS well, I guess I got ahead of myself again, 11+
Still the same problem. They are not the titles that came with VS, but with still pictures I have named each picture (though not all done) I was going to try and redo the project, so I wanted to copy the names that were in the title frames, and paste them into the new project, and hopefully have them lined up right. If I copy them, then open a new project, and paste, it puts them into the library. I suppose I could do that then drag them back into the title line. Was looking for a shortcut. It would be just as easy to retype each name, and I didn't want to add several 100 titles (not yet) to the library. I have a still picture, put the name in each picture in the title line.

Hi
Be careful when inserting multiple clips/titles to the library from the timeline.
If you drag and drop then the titles will be out of order.
Use Copy and Paste as you mentioned earlier, they will be in order. (VS 9 does it ok)
If you drag the titles to a new project they will be adjacent to each other, you will have to arrange them one by one.
As a work-round, and I do not say this is easy, but it does work.
Fill the space between each title in the timeline, use a temporary title, don¡¦t forget the beginning space.
(Set the preferences for a longer title than the longest gap. That way the gap will fill)
Copy the lot to the library, use a new library page.
Now drag the lot back to a new project, delete the temp titles.
But why don¡¦t you just save the project ¡¥Save As¡¦ give it a new name then delete everything but the titles and images???????????????

doesn't seem to work in 11?
Doesn't work in 11, unless I am doing something wrong?
I open the previous proj. highlight all the titles or the ones I want,
copy, open the new project, place the cursor in the title timeline,
but then it paste them all into the liabrary.
That is an idea to delete everything but the titles,
then there is VS infamous problem of inserting the last still
picture at the beginning. This would not be too bad, but
I have about 600 pictures, of course 11 doesnt tell you
til you try and import them, then it unfortunately crashes.
I think VS10 allowed me 200-300 picture import into the timeline.
I like 11, but as some said, they don't see a whole lot of diffrences.
Thanks Bruce

From timeline to library---brucefl wrote: then there is VS infamous problem of inserting the last still

Thanks Bruce
Use copy and paste--all in order
Do not use drag and drop--out of order
Ok to drag from library to timeline.
From the hard drive---
Select the images then drag the first image to the library.

too many clips for library
I do quite a few projects with still clips. I really don't want to add 600 + pictures to the library. I will try copy & paste rather than insert.
VS9 is possible, just don't like going back and forth. Still deciding if I want to uninstall 9 & 10.
