is it possible to capture a screen shot from a video and save to my desktop? if so how

You didn't ask how originally :lol:

You'll have to wait for one of the MSP guys for exactly that, but I'd have thought the help file - F1 - and save still image, save frame would tell you.

Ignore the smart-alecs! Go to your Preview window and click the menu icon. The rest is obvious!
