opening VOB files in UVS 7.0

Hello, can anyone tell me if/how i can open VOB files in UVS 7.0? I tried loading through library and keep getting FILE FORMAT MISMATCH error

It depends on the nature of the VOB file. In all cases, the VOB file must be free of CSS (Content Scrambling System) encryption, so you cannot add video from a commercial DVD.

If all you have is a VOB file, rename it to MPG, and drop it into your project. If you have a DVD or the contents of a complete DVD on your hard drive, then change the capture plugin to the DVD Capture plugin, click on the Capture tab, and then start the capture process. You will then be asked to browse for the VIDEO_TS folder.
