Trial Includes Dolby Digital Support

Post by GeorgeW »

Hey, just downloaded the MF 4.0 Trial, and first project noticed that they included Dolby Digital encoding with the Trial. I think that's great, as many people couldn't get it working properly with the DMF3 Trial because their source had DD Audio.

So, just wanted to say thanks to the Ulead Folks for including Dolby Digital in the Trial this time :)

That's odd. AC3 requires licensing.

George,
I'm not sure what the trial includes but checkout the new resident drivers
that get loaded. I was having trouble with them. This may just be my
machine though.

Also, after recording or importing a mpg2 file with AC-3 the file plays back
good. If I trimmed or edited the mpg2 file the audio seems to be corrupted.
Sometimes the program will exit & close by itself or the audio will simply
stop playing back.

I do have Nero InCd loaded so I dropped the ulead packet writing software.
