corrupted file

I am tring to capture using my DV camera asa passthrough device. I have set the DV out put in the menu but I keep getting an error message when I start the capture... "Corrupted File file will be deleted" I have done this before with no probs. Any advice. VS11 has been newly installed.

I asssume you are trying to capture analog footage. Then when you say you have done this before with no problems I suspect that was before v11, because v11 has an apparent bug that doesn't allow analog capture. Until a patch is released just capture with your previous version then edit with v11.

My camcorder doesn't do pass through but I have read on this forum that there is a problem with the pass through function in VideoStudio 11 / 11+ and that it should be addressed in a service pack in the near future.
