I was hoping for a response from Radioman62
in reply to my post here:
http://phpbb.ulead.com.tw/EN/viewtopic. ... 597#126597

However that was almost a month ago and he hasn't replied.
I have just checked the two links given and both are currently still active.

You have to copy and past the entire link into your browser address bar.

Code: Select all

Content pack:
ftp://ULJSCCRV:4QR4UY2Q@Private.ulead.com.tw/uvs11_plus_contentpack_(e).exe

Bonus Pack:
ftp://ULFJ1CDU:NLTH3AOC@Private.ulead.com.tw/uvs11_bonuscd_(e).exe

Ohoj there
I have been away for a while. Anyway, I didn't thought you needed an answer from me Steve? I wasn't the original poster of the links.

Actually the links did work with some "hands" on at them.
To copy and paste, as sjj1805 describes, is even better. Oh I also had to get the getright software to manage to get the files home. The shareware version worked. But Getright tried to log on anonymously and I had to put some "extras" in the configuration part.
Example for the BonusCD
In login --> FTP & Basic you have to put Private.ulead.com.tw in the server/Path field and Usernamefield would be ULFJ1CDU. In the Password field you put NLTH3AOC
You can see that the username and password is taken from the link for the BonusCD. But again. Getright needs this to be written in the Configuration options.

Hope this helps someone. :)
I just tested and it still works 8)

Thank you and I did not intend to cause any embarrassment.
I am only attempting to provide our members with the tools they are entitled to have and if there is a non expiring download available I see no reason why it should not be published.

The extra content packs etc will only work providing you have purchased the product they are intended for. They are useless to anyone else.

I'm trying to download the contentpack too, using the pasted-in links above, WS_FTP, and any other way I can find, and the best I can get is a download that takes hours and hours, that hasn't successfully completed yet. I own VS-11 Plus. Is there something I'm missing?

Since we have no idea what type of internet connection you have, who knows? The pack you are talking about has hundreds of MB in it (can't remember the exact figure), and Corel/Ulead download sites can be very slow. So if you have a slow internet connection, odds are that it will take quite some time to download!

Is this the same material that comes on the second VS11+ cd?
Or is it something extra beyond that?

It should be what is on the CD.

Content and Bonus Packs

Is there anything new in the content and bonus packs; or is the content and bonus the same as on the installation CDs. I am having trouble with the VS11plus video clips in as much as they appear as say an 01.avi file but will not open, either in WMP or in VS11. They both have an error message to the effect that the files are not compatible.

I cannot remember how to do a "screen shot" can anyone help with this and then I could copy it here to show you what the file looks like that I am trying to open.

The *.avi files will not play on a Vista machine. They use the Indeo codec, and It's unknown why Corel in all it's finite wisdom elected to include sample video clips in a program that is designed to run on Vista, however that will not play that type of files.

Content files, bonus pack

I use VS 11.5+ and I have an 133 MB Content File consisting of Content File and EditingStyle File. In Content file/menu Templates/4x3 or 16x9 you find menu templates of various themes such as Vacation, Baby&Kids, Romantic, Special Events etc. altogether 9 files in addtiton to the Customize, Text Button, Scene Button etc files already existing in the programme file (though these are richer in variety int he extra Content file). When copying these files into UVS programme/Content/Menu Template, the name of these files (Vacation, Romantic etc) becomes unreadable in the burning module of UVS under the Gallery tab (completely different characters appear) although the templates themselves are accessible, just you cannot read the name of the themes where they are located. It seems as if uvs did not recognize correctly these folder names. In the meantime I downloaded VS11+ Content File (uvs11_plus-contentpack_(e).exe) the link to which I received earlier in this forum, but I do not know what it includes as it is a set up file. Does it include these extra menu templates? By putting aside the Content File I have without the set-up file and installing the VS11+ Content File can I solve my problem?
Thanks in advance

You either have the content files from CD & DVD Picture Show 4, or you may have purchased the bonus template pack that was previously available for an earlier version. I think it was VS10.

Those templates will work with other versions of VideoStudio if you copy them in the manner described here:
MF5/MF6/VS9 /VS10: Share Menus, Transitions between products

The download link you mention is the standard "Extra Content" file that you should install. It contains various menus and other material fr your product.
