VS11 - Installing Error; The contents of this file cannot...

so, I recently purchased Ulead Video Studio 11 Plus to mess around with in my free time. Get the Download Version instead of having the box shipped to my house (to save me time). Click on the download link and download the .exe installer (UVS11Plus_E). Downloaded it, took around 2 minutes, not bad, anyhow. Double click it to install it. Installer starts to work and starts extracting the files, after it extracts it all, an error comes up with this;

[ The contents of this file cannot be unpacked. The executable you are attempting to run has been corrupted. Please obtain another copy of this file, verify its integrity, and try again. ]

So, I figure, why not follow it's instructions? I re-download it, not once, not twice, but FIVE times! All come back to the same error.

Even with a super fast internet connection, I rather doubt that the file you mentioned would only take 2 minutes or so to download. I don't have the relevant file(s) on this computer, and I am away from home, but that file should be a couple of hundred MB in size, and the overall package (3 files in all) fit on two CDs as backup, which will give you an idea of its overall size.

So if you continue to have problems, I would contact Corel/Ulead and ask for a fix.

FYI, the file you mention contains the main program files. In addition, there should be an Extra Content file which contains the Help files, templates and other files. And a Bonus Features file which contains Cool 3D for titles and WinDVD player. This last file is not necessary for the correct running of Video Studio, but the first two are.

I downloaded all 3 files;

UVS11Plus_E
UVS11Plus_ESD_E_Content
UVS11Plus_ESD_E_Bonus

All of which are .exe files. I try and install any of the 3 and ALL come back with the same exact error. I have re-downloaded each about 5 times a piece, tried both downloading them off the site and from the email that was sent to me containing the download links.

I have a T3 Connection basically and a high end gaming computer, all 3 files took less then 10 minutes to download.

In any case, is there anyway maybe the download link I got was linked to a corrupt file?
