Missing time indicators

Post by fatbloke »

Can anyone help please?

In the past when I overlapped a still image with another image or video, a little marker would appear indicating the length of the overlap in seconds/frames. This valuable facility disappeared and I don't know why. Can someone tell me how to get them back please?

Thanks,
Simon

Can't really give you the answer you need but with no clip selected, if you right-click the transition, can you see the duration?

The overlap duration uses "tooltip" functionality.

Have you reinstalled MSP recently? You need to install the service pack for the overlap tooltips to work.

Also, are you on a dual-display setup? Some older drivers do not display tooltips on the secondary display.

Thanks for the replies. Re-installed SP1 and problem is fixed. Still can't work out why the tooltips went missing in the first place though.
