Auto Subtitle Track

Post by froggy_doddy21 »

What is the purpose of "Auto Subtitle Track" while capturing, and how does it work?

According to the site it: "automatically capture video file name, date, time, and EXIF (photo) data and view as a subtitle track. Great for keeping track of when and where you shot your video and pictures"

If I understand correctly, by pressing the "subtiltle" button on the remote, you'll get the time and date the video was shot while watching the final dvd. That would be great!

How does this work? How do I capture the video with this feature on? Once I have the captured video, do I have to author the disk in Movie Factory 6, or can I bring it back to Workshop 2?

Any info, or tutorial on how to get this works would be great.

So far I have only had time to create this one but hopefully will give you a clue about the edit subtitles function.

Create Subtitles with VS11+ for use in MF6+ (Video)

Excellent tutorial, thank you.

Now how can we use to date/time stamp as the subtitle? Is there something we need to do differently while capturing the video.

When I select "edit subtitle", the date and time fields are greyed out and cannot be checked off.
