MSP8 Titler Problems and crashes

Post by robtywlak »

Hello everyone I am back :-)

Had about a year or so off any video stuff due to busy family stuff... got into a project again and have hit a big snag.

Last night I had the titler stuck in the scroll mode and could not get it out...
Tonight it is consistently crashing after applying a moving path to a photo on the timeline. 99% CPU usage on Veditor.exe and it just sits there when trying to open a title for editing. 3 times now this has happened.

Being a MSP8 beta and not hearing anything about a service pack 2 I fear this is not going to get fixed.

Are there any workarrounds ? I am trying to finish a video for someone and it is due tomorrow.

Any help would be greatly appreciated as I have tried all the ususal tricks.

Terry - call me at hoe if you still have the number.. I have lost yours again :-(

Regards,
Rob

Sounds like you have a conflict; this is not normal behaviour. Have you installed anything recently? Have you simply tried re-installing MSP? Have you installed a codec bundle? Sorry, but only systematic trials can find the culprit.
