No access to Flash animation files

Post by hanskru »

Using VS10 Plus.
When I want to use a flash animation file I get the following message:
These files cannot be added to this project.
These files may be of unknown file format, the computer does not have enough memory or the file is copyright protected
.

When I look into C:\progran Files\Ulead Systems\Ulead VideoStudio\Samples|video\MotionD02.swf the file is there, but cannot open it.

Any suggestions?

Thanks Hans
Hans

Flash problem

Post by tommytucker »

I had the same problem. If you uninstall your latest Flash upgrade and reinstall the Flash that comes with VS, it will work. HOWEVER, I have contactec Ulead as to why I can't let my browser take the recommended upgrade to the latest flash that many sites keep asking for to display content. It is as if I have to choose to stay with an older version of Flash in order to use VS and give up the latest Flash upgrades that evolving sites on the web keep demanding. I emailed support a week ago, no reponse.

I like the latest Flash tutorial that was emailed to me by Ulead for VS11.

Any tips on how to use the latest recommended Flash and still use VS would be appreciated.

I did an un-install of VS10 and an install of VS10. However the problem still exists???
I have an upgraded version through download, so I dont have a separate flash player.

Any suggestions now?

Thanks Hans

Thanks for the replies sofar,
however when I go to my backup discs, downloaded VS10, I only see the following: VS_contentpack_e.exe Ulead systems, vs10_bonus.exe and vs10_plus_e.exe.
How do I find this flash player?

Thanks Hans
