Yes. It plays just fine.

I think - and if I'm right, I may be an idiot - that I was trying to capture without opening the preview screen on the camera! I haven't used it in so long that I forgot that the motor functions are touch-controlled and therefore probably won't engage until the screen is opened and they become visible.

Having now opened the screen, I see a real-time preview in the software. That bodes well for a 120-minute capture time.
