Depending upon background noise concerned you might be able to tidy it up with:
Audacity.
This is a sound editor. You can export the soundtrack from your video editor as a WAV file. Open the file with Audacity and make powerful alterations, fades, cuts, mixes, clean out unwanted sounds, echoes and a variety of other useful edits. You can then save the cleaned up sound file and then import it back into your video editor.
http://audacity.sourceforge.net/
Failing that you can "borrow" similar bits of sound from nearby parts of the video and replace the offending part (If it sound O.K. who will know?)
Worst case scenario - mute the audio and use some background music.

Help needed again,on part of my video project i changed a song using the audio filter to a different pitch, the sounds plays back at a different pitch when viewing and listening, but after rendering and burning to dvd disc
the song still remains the same as it was before adding any pitch.

I would again revert to Audacity.
Export your Audio to a WAV file from the [Share] Tab.
Open with Audacity.
Alter the pitch.
Save the new Audio file.
Import it to the VideoStudio Music Track.
Mute the Video Audio track.
Create a new MPEG2 file.
Clear the time line (file | New Project)
Go to the [Share] Tab
Create disc.
Import the new MPEG2 file.
Export your Audio to a WAV file from the [Share] Tab.
Open with Audacity.
Alter the pitch.
Save the new Audio file.
Import it to the VideoStudio Music Track.
Mute the Video Audio track.
Create a new MPEG2 file.

Go to the [Share] Tab
Create disc.
Import the new MPEG2 file.

I agree with Steve. VideoStudio is primarily a video editor. It is very weak in the audio editing department. Audacity is a very strong audio editor, especially for the price!
Very few of the experienced editors on this forum use only one app for the job (and most of us are amateurs like yourself). Just look at Steve's signature to see how many apps he uses on a regular basis. Come to think of it, maybe Steve needs another hobby!
