I have a question about two project settings. The "Disc playback" and the "Auto repeat disc when playback ends", What is the difference between the two? I read my user guide but i found that i was confused. When i practiced enableing them during burning a dvd i didnt get the results i expected. I believe its partially because my dvd player needs replacing

Ulead dvd movie factory 6plus & project settings
Hi,
I have a question about two project settings. The "Disc playback" and the "Auto repeat disc when playback ends", What is the difference between the two? I read my user guide but i found that i was confused. When i practiced enableing them during burning a dvd i didnt get the results i expected. but i would also like to know for future reference more detail (beyond the description of the user guide) the difference between both.

Using your other post regarding 5 videos and no chapter menu
as an example.
Disc Playback.
What do you want to happen after watching title 1.
Do you want to return to the DVD menu or do you want to now watch title 2, then title 3 and so on.
Auto Repeat Disc.
What do you want to happen when you reach the end of Title 5.
Do you want to go back to the DVD menu
or
Do you want to start playing Title 1 followed by Title 2 and so on.
as an example.

Oh okay, that makes sense, hehe. Thanks..
So then by not selecting "auto repeat" and selecting "continue to play next clip" the disc will go from episode to episode until it reaches 5 and then automatically return to the main menu...
Im sorry, I have just one more question. Does selecting "Auto repeat..." cancel out "clip playback"? or will the dvd automatically play episode 1 to 5 and then repeat the episodes until the dvd is turned off or sent to menu?
Any response would be greatly appreciated.

The auto repeat checkbox that's to the left of the drop-down box will auto repeat the whole dvd. In other words after all the files(titles) are played) after the last one instead of going back to the main menu the dvd will repeat itself again, and again, and again.
I'm not sure what happens though if when using the remote you skip ahead using the NEXT button (for next chapter or title) while playing the dvd back.. I think it plays that title and then may go back to the main menu. This happens because you interrupted the play mode of the dvd.
MF doesn't have a navigation editor, if it did then you could link these titles together & avoid this problem. DVD workshop 2 probably has navigation features.
