Data Gathering Regarding DVD Menu Highlight Buttons.

MF 6 Plus - "Show Highlight Button" not working!

Users who think they are affected by a possible bug in the program where the DVD Menu highlight image does NOT show up on a standalone DVD player are requested to provide the information requested below.

Before posting please remember that only some DVD Menu Templates contain highlight images, not all. It is a matter of design by the author of the individual template. If the author chose to include highlight images they will have them, if the author chose not to include them they are not there.

INFORMATION REQUESTED.

1. What version of DVD MovieFactory do you have (Include if it is a + version or a standard version)
2. Have you installed any service packs (Please list)
3. Do you have any other Ulead software installed (Please list)
4. What is the make and model of your standalone DVD Player
5. Please use the Microsoft Windows SEARCH facility and list all occurrences of the following file XDiscLayer.dll
Please include the full path to that file for example
C:\Program Files\Common Files\Ulead Systems\DVD\XDiscLayer.dll
6. Please right-click on the file and select "Properties".
Please tell me the version number of that file plus the file size.
The version number will read something like 1.3.24.180 ( 864KB )

If I am able to identify a trend I can pass this information on directly to the software development team.

Please tell me the version number of that file plus the file size.
The version number 1.2.3.18 280Kb

This problem should now be resolved by
DVD MovieFactory 6 Patch 2 (Release Date: 2007/8/30)

Some users have reported problems downloading the patch and so I have uploaded a copy of it here:
