Presets over to new version

Post by Bitdaf »

Hi all!

I used PI 8 for some time, creating and saving my own presets as I went, before finally upgrading to PI10.

My question is this:

How can I transport my PI8 presets over to PI10 and have them available? I'm a little relunctant to start using "10" until I can accomplish this... :)

Thanks!

Check http://wwell.net/tutorials/pi8/easypalette/index.html and http://wwell.net/tutorials/pi10/easypalette/index.html

You can select the Load command by right clicking on the EasyPalette folder to load your libraries into the EasyPalette in PhotoImpact 10.

Hope this helps.

Thank you! That helps with part of the issue. The other part is that I can't find the presets within the PI 8 folder in Program Files... where are these custom presets kept? Provided that I didn't create a special folder for them where would they have "defaulted" to?

I click on "load" in the easy pallette thy are no where to be found! :\

Thanks

Check System Drive:\Documents and Settings\<Your Account>\Application Data\Ulead Systems\Ulead PhotoImpact\8.0\Ulead.dat\ and you should find your custom presets in the subfolders.

Hope this helps.
