I am having problems publishing to the web. If I click the Output Video to Another Medium - Web Page I get two options and have tried both unsuccessfully. First, I saved the file as a Microsoft Active Movie Control. I uploaded this to my web site, sent the link to others, but no one could view it. One person reported a Windows Media Player popping up, but without any content and the button greyed out.
If I choose not to use the Microsoft Active Movie Control, it gives me a html page with a link to the original avi file. Do I upload this avi file to my web site and re-link, or do I re-save the original file into a compressed format and save/upload on my site? If so, what format do I use?
Thanks.

Export video onto a Web page
I have a similar question about the different mediums within the VS11+ program.
Yes, I did visit the members sample forum which did not answer the question. Most of those are either personal videos to view, or download this program to do what VS11+ says it can do.
The question is... when using the 'Output video to a different medium' option and selecting Web Page, the 'Microsoft ActiveMovie' control pops up and you say yes, the html page is blank, Why?
If you choose no it makes a link and will bring up Media Player to play the video. This is unacceptable due to the different platforms viewing the movie.
Please Help...

I would have thought that you would have to up-load the actual video file as well as the Html/media player file.
Can you provide your link.
