MF 4 reported DVD write speed

Using MF 4, with an 8x Sony DVD burner with 8x media, MF reports that it is writing at 3x. However, timing the full DVD burn shows that it is really burning at 8x.

On a second unit, with a 2.4x (+R) Dell burner, MF reports write speed at 1x. However, timing the full DVD burn shows that it is really burning at 2.4x.

Is this a bug?

Sounds like it. Here's another one: instead of MAX, I select 2-4x (on a 8x disk). While it burns, the combo box reverts to MAX, but the write happens at the selected speed.
