Conversion to DVD of VideoSuite 11 Plus

Post by tsimpson »

Hi! I am currently using Version 7 and decided to try the downloaded demo of 11 Plus for my latest video project which utilized music, approximately 1000 photos and ran for about 65 minutes. When I tried to convert to DVD for sharing and then burning, I keep running into "can't locate library" and "file error" messages during the rendering. Wondering whether it was the type (DVD, MPEG, etc.) that was incorrect, I have tried them all to see if it made a difference without success.

I know with Version 7 I was limited to about 600 images with music or 40 minutes, so I took about 10 minutes of the new file and tried to render again but I still got the same messages.

I have looked through the manual without success for other possible options and wanted to check with the ULead experts on this forum next. Any thoughts???

I am anxious to get it converted as it is a Birthday gift for my 6 year old daughter and as you can imagine, much time was put into development. I do plan on purchasing the Version 11 Plus given how old my other version is but conversion is my first priority. Thanks in advance for all your help!!!

Tracy :(

P.S. I have made approximately 10 movies in the past so am familiar with the general process of using this product.

Here's a post from Corel:
Right-click on my computer\ advanced\click setting in the performance, and in the advanced tab\change the virtual memory as the values shown below: Custom Initial Size: 1024; Maximum Size: 4095. Click 'Set', then 'Ok'. Restart your computer afterwards. TIP: Turn off all running applications including anti virus, Norton Utilities, or other memory resident programs, Internet connection, etc before running VideoStudio. If you have hardware devices that are currently connected via
port like compact flash card reader, removable drives, or any other UBS device, you might also want to unplug them temporarily too because they eat up memory as well.
Also, Please review this thread: Location of Library Manager Files.

Thanks so much for the information! I will see what happens once your instructions have been completed.

With regards to the thread...is there a possibility that when the download trial date is complete all will be lost? If so, how can I prevent this from happening? I am going to purchase the product, will this ensure my work is available? That post got me quite nervous so wanted some clarification. Thanks again!

Hi, As far as I know, Ulead trial products will just prevent you from accessing the software when trial duration completes; this will not loose your existing libraries though. :D
