New user question-I would like to puchase software,which one

is right for me?
This is what I want to be able to do.
Make all my pictures into dvd slideshows with all the goodies like music, fun stuff etc.
Eventually I would like to add video and make dvds.
I want them to look great, not cheap.
Which software(s) should I purchase. I would like to keep it around $100.00- 150.00.
I would love for it to be quick and easy when Im in a hury, but also when I have time to be able to put a lot of thought and creativety into it.
I appreciate any feedback and comments.

I have also downloaded trial of videostudio and allready having problems with adding (all) images to my slide show instead having to add one at a time.
