Hi All:
Im working with Photoimpact XL V.8
PROBLEM:
1) My starting image is a transparent PNG Image.
2) I then slice the PNG Image.
3) I then SAVE FOR WEB --> AS HTML
4) The separate smaller images resulting from slicing the original larger PNG image, are outputed as JPG and loose their transparency.
WHAT IM TRYING TO ACHIEVE
I need every little image, the result of slicing the larger PNG, to preserve the same transparency of the original larger PHG file.
QUESTION
How do I achieve this without having to convert every little image back to PNG and try to save it as transparent one by one.
Need to preserve transparent background after Slicing a PNG

Welcome to the forums,
I don't have that version, but in PI-12, pressing the Options button on the Save As dialog window, opens up the Save As Options Dialog, that has an Image File tab. There are 3 file types for the Default setting for cell images, JPEG, GIF and PNG. Select PNG.
