Video hangs at each chapter mark

When I create a DVD from a DVD recorder (Philips DVR880) and then drop this into MF4 I get the following... If I select a whole bunch of chapters to import the playback is fine. If however I select each individual chapter within the selection the playback hangs at each chapter mark. This spoils the playback of the movie as the whole reason for using MF4 is so that I could cut out the breaks for adverts, news etc. Any ideas???

In Project Settings, is the Clip Playback drop-down at the bottom of the page set to - Continue to play the next clip.

Sorry - I wasn't specific enough. The whole DVD plays through but the video hangs for a split second rather than playing smoothly as you would expect. Normally you do not notice chapter markers during DVD playback. When you import individual chapters you can easily see where the chapters fall ie the picture hangs for a split second.

Not as a solution, but as a confirmation of the existing problem. I use MF3 (with all patches) and see the "1/2 second hang - stutter" occur at the chapter points as well. It occurs whether I use the "join video clip" feature and set chapters within, and occasionally, not always, when I use individual clips as complete chapters. I do have the MF3 set to automatically go to the next chapter, but it always stutters.

I was hoping that that was fixed in MF4 (downloaded but not yet installed), but obviously was not. Darn! I had reported this via email to Ulead tech support a couple of times, but I never heard anything back.
