Title animations

Post by m rixon »

When I create a title and apply an animation how do icancel that animation if I want to try another. In Mediastudio 7 you could just keep double clicking animations until you found the one you wanted. In MS8
it semms that once an animation is applied the only way to get another animation is to cancel the title you have made and start again,or am I missing something?

It's an "or missed something" thing..;)

In the upper left corner of the animation tab, there is a check mark. To undo or remove and animation, highlight/select your title on the preview window. Then press the checkmark, which should de-select.

My check box does not de-select and I cannot find any instructions to alter this.ie no optional settings in Preferences menu.Do you think I should re-instal the programme?

When the animation is selected, there should be a colored square around the checkmark, and you should see the blue pause/duration bar beneath the preview window. Deslecting, those are not visible.

You must first click on your title in the preview window to select it. Then click on the checkmark to de-select the animation. Just having the titler open will not affect changes to your title(s).

There are no settings to alter this behavior.

Thanks vidoman, your instructions worked.I wonder why its now such a complicated procedure.I am sure in MSP 7 you could just double click an animation to change it.

Do you really want to revert to the abomination of a titler that was in MSP7? Yes, it is slightly more complex to use, but the MSP8 one is infinitely better in many ways.
