Hello everybody,
Since nobody at ulead seems to care about an important issue about the abscence of navigation features in DMF6+ retail, I would like to know where the happy users of DMF6+ got their software.
Some words of explanation : the downloaded version offers highlight features, that means that you can see which item on the screen has the focus on. That means that one can navigate through the DVD. Whereas the retail version does not offer this feature, so that makes DMF6+ retail completely useless.
I would like to add that although DMF6+ retail has highlight features working on PC DVD players (like intervideo, nero, zoomplayer, etc), that same feature does not work on standalone players, which obviously many other users are experimenting. Don't say that it might be due to the brand of the player, it worked in the previous releases of DMF, I know that for sure. Now it doesn't work anymore, it is the software and nothing else.
I wanted to start this thread since an important part of unhappy DMF6+ users are left aside, with a software that obviously doesn't work.
Best regards to all
jacky serpenti

There is no difference between the retail version and the download version.
I checked the DVD menu templates you mentioned in the other thread and the highlight images are present and work correctly on the 3 named DVD menu templates in your post on my downloaded full version.
As I have stated previously, some DVD Menu templates were designed to have highlight images for navigational control, others do not have highlight images but instead use the s1,s2,s3,a1,a2,a3 system.
Your full version of DVD MovieFactory should include a mixture of both types.
