Hello, I have one problem with using Ulead.
I have some video clips in wmv. format. And I go and edit them, or short them in Ulead. And when I want to save them Ulead freeze, blocks and turn off. I dunno why, and whan I wanna do that with MPEG. format, everything is alright.
Does anyone have a solution?
Sorry for my english, I hope you understand.

The highly compressed formats (WMV, MOV, DivX, Xvid, MPEG-4, etc) seem to cause lots of trouble. I've sometimes had trouble with MPEG-2 too.
The most trouble-free format is AVI/DV. (It is less compressed thatn most formats and it takes-up 13 GB per hour.)
You can try converting the file to AVI/DV before editing. (Go to Share and Save As AVI/DV.)
Then, open the AVI/DV file and edit it. When you are done, you can re-compress the file if you wish (Save As WMV, etc.)
If that does not work, you can try converting the file with SUPER (FREE!!!). SUPER should be able to convert your file to MPEG-2*. It might be able to make an AVI/DV** file if you live in a country that uses PAL video. (We use NTSC video here in the U.S., and SUPER does not have the correct settings for NTSC AVI/DV.)
* SUPER shows this as MPEG II.
** With SUPER, select avi as the Output Container, DV Digital Video for the Video Codec, and WAV pcm for the Audio Codec.
