High res only 1024 x 768 pixels

I'm very unhappy with this version 12.

I must switch my desktop to 1024x768 and then each image I must magnify so I can see any details.

Version 10 I could open the program without all the changing I must now do.

And the program is much slower.
After I save an image or close it...........there is a 20 second delay before I can get to the next image.
WHY?

Is there any way to run this in 800 x 600?
And how can I avoid that annoying "save profile" box on startup.

When I start Version 12---I must now close about 7 menu boxes each time.

There is only one easy solution to your dilemma, stick with 10.

PI 12 is aimed at todays world, not the days of DOS and 14" CRT monitors. Once you get a new flat screen LCD monitor, unless it is square which they are not, you will be unable to continue to use this archaic screen resolution. Sorry.

I have 2 20 inch Flat screens.
I must set the res in one to open version 12 and then drag it to my monitor running 800 x 600.
