I mistakenly began a new version of my project with a similar name. I did most of the editing on the version i will not be using because the other version has images i need to keep. How can i bring the clips from one version into the primary project i am creating?

you can bring the clips from one version of your project to the primary project you are currently working on by using the "insert media into the timeline" this will allow you to insert videos, images and audio, including the .VSP project file of VS. just click the button and locate the project file you wish to add to your current project.
