Hello,
I was doing a project. I go to share, then it is not long enough per clip, so I click the back, I change the duration of all the clips. Initially I did not name the project., when I click back it saves the project
But, when I click the share again, it loads the project, without the changes.
thanks Bruce

Do you mean the dialog box that pops up and says it is saving? Nobody is sure what that means, because to save your changes you have to go to File > Save.when I click back it saves the project

saving
When you click on share, then click create disc. I decided it was not log enough, so I clicked cancel, when you do it saves it in some format.
When I change the timing on the clips, and click the Share / Create disc.
It says "loading project" but it does not open with the changes.

First, as Jeff just told you, if you change your original project in the timeline, then you first have to save the changes by going to File > Save. If you hadn't already given the project a name, do so at this point.
Second, our recommended workflow is not then to open the burning module and insert the project as you are doing. Some people do this all the time and have no trouble. But it seems to me, a lot more do it and *do* run into problems. This is because the conversion of the project into DVD-compatible mpeg-2, which is a complicated and demanding enough process in its own right, is being thrown in with lots of other complicated processes in the burning procedure. Some computers just can't handle that extra load.
That's why we recommend, after you have finished editing, that you first convert your project into a DVD compatible mpeg-2 as a separate step before you even open the burning module. To do this, use Share > Create Video File > DVD.
Once you have your mpeg-2, save your project, then open a new one. Don't worry about a name for it -- the objective is just to clear the timeline.
Then you go to Share > Create Disc, insert your new mpeg-2 into the burning timeline, make your menu and burn. Also, make sure 'do not convert compliant mpeg files' is ticked in the middle of the three icons in the bottom left of the burning screen. You should not have to adjust any of the properties in the burn module.
Third, once you have built your menu and want to save it, then you have to close the burning module. It then does an auto save, but no one seems to know what happens to that auto-saved file. It is certainly not saving the project file. So you close the burning module, essentially ignore the auto save, and then go to File > Save to save the project. You can now even close Video Studio if you like. And when you re-open it and open the project, then open the burning module, your saved menu should be in place.
