"Capture from device" opens blank window

I am using DMF 6 and the Hauppauge PVR-150 tuner card(which seems to be working fine). When I try to import video either from the launcher or from within DMF I get the "Capture Video" window coming up, but it remains blank. As an experiment I hooked up my Panasonic DV camera to the firewire and the computer recognized it but I still got the blank screen with the capture video.

Unfortunatly I upgraded both the computer and DMF from 5 to 6 at the same time so I don't know which could be the problem.

I tried reinstalling DMF but recieved an error of "could not find Moviefactory 6.msi" file and the setup program shut down.

Try to perform a clean removal of the program from your system. Here¡¦s a post from Corel website:

1. Remove MovieFactory 6 in the Add/remove programs;
2. After removing the program, go to this location and delete all folders: "C:\Program Files\Ulead Systems\Ulead DVD MovieFactory 6.0" "C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Ulead Systems\Ulead DVD MovieFactory\6.0" "C:\Documents and Settings\[YOUR USERNAME]\Application Data\Ulead Systems\Ulead DVD MovieFactory\6.0" "C:\Program Files\Common Files\Ulead Systems\DVD";
3. Click on "START > RUN" and type in REGEDIT and press enter (you may not find the following keys after uninstalling the software but just to be sure, check them);
4. Locate the following registry keys and delete them by "right-click > delete". HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Ulead Systems\Ulead DVD MovieFactory\6.0 HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Ulead Systems\Ulead DVD MovieFactory\6.0;
5. Once deleted, restart the computer and reinstall the product.

Note: Note: Editing the registry could cause system-wide problems if critical keys are removed. Make sure you delete only what is mentioned and if you are not sure how to do this, skip this part.
